Sip 'n Stitch
This fall as the weather turns cool (at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere) my mind turns to cozy thoughts of knitting in my favorite spot on the couch with a hot mug of coffee by my side. So this fall we are offering you the Sip 'n Stitch club. Every other month you will receive a package containing a bag of coffee, a skein of our beautiful yarn (or braid of roving) in a coffee inspired colorway and a small extra.

The colorways will be inspired by the coffee, but that doesn't mean that they will all be brown. For example, if the coffee is from Peru then we may look at the Peruvian arts and crafts heritage to inspire us. Or if it has notes of black cherry and vanilla then we may end up with a swirl of black and deep red.
All of the coffee will be fair trade and most will be organic/shade grown/etc. All coffee will be purchased from local (to us) roasters and shipped within a day or two of roasting. We will be touring the roasting facilities and coffee shops, taking pictures and doing interviews, and sharing it all with you on the club blog. These are some of our favorite coffee roasters and the places where we buy our own coffee (weekly, usually!), so we are sure you'll love the selections!

Sip 'n Stitch shipments will arrive every other month for 6 months (3 shipments) beginning in November, 2009.
-
Each shipment will contain at least half a pound of beans/ground coffee (select your preference below), a 100g skein of one of our sock yarns or 4oz of roving dyed in an exclusive colorway inspired by that month's coffee selection, and a small "extra" goody. Total retail value will be over $100 (plus shipping).
-
Two payment options are available- pay the full amount in advance and recieve a discount, or pay for each kit a few weeks prior to shipment.
-
International Customers (Outside of the US or Canada): Please purchase the International memberships (below) to cover international shipping costs.
-
For our customers who prefer tea, we will be beginning a Sip 'n Stitch just for you at the end of the winter!
-
If you select to have us pre-grind your beans for you, please let us know in the "comments" section of the order form how you prefer your coffee ground.
-
We have had several requests for a De-Caf option, so we've decided to add it. However, the colorways will be inspired by the regular caffienated coffee. I cannot promise that the De-Caf coffee will be the same blend as the regular coffee, but will make every effort to select a De Caf coffee that works well with the colorway.

We can put together a wool-free roving option if you have allergies to wool. Please contact us at laura@theuniquesheep.com for more details.
