As a new company, there is a LOT still being planned. We are working feverishly to get new designs written down, tested and ready to be published. We are also continuously adding new colors, yarns and rovings to the collection. As we develop more patterns we will also be adding more kits, since kits really seem to be the ideal way to sell handpainted yarn to ensure color consistency.

One great place to learn about The Unique Sheep news is the blog, www.theuniquesheep.blogspot.com. Here you can read about new patterns that need to be tested, or patterns that are ready to be used for samples. We are always in need for knitters to test our patterns and help us knit samples. Our policy for sample knitting is that in return for the finished sample we will send you a free skein of your choice of yarn. As we develop larger projects (i.e. sweaters) we will increase the amount of free yarn you recieve in proportion to the amount of time you spend on the sample.

You can also get involved by submitting photos to inspire new colors. We tend to develop new colors based on the seasons, so as the seasons change think about photos you have taken in the past, or new photo opportunities from this season, that somehow represent the season and its colors to you.
