Autumn Gold Lace Shawl Errata

Oops, mistakes happen and even though we have all of our patterns test knit for accuracy, sometimes a mistake gets past us.

Errata 04-07-08:

The current pattern reads continue knitting chart 1 to row 36 - there are only 32 rows and it says continue using rows 25 - 36 until you have 18 complete leaves - it should say rows 17 - 32

Errata 06-06-08:

In order to ensure that you have sufficient yarn to complete the design with two skeins we have had to make a minor change to the pattern.

Main body of the shawl
Continue working rows 17 - 32 until you have 16 pattern repeats along the garter st edge. (140st) on either side ending with a row 31.

Border
Cast on 35 st beginning at row 1 work 10 repeats of the border pattern.
work the tip as written and then work a further 10 repeats up the other side.

If Dao would be kind enough to amend the pattern as follows:

size of shawl needs to changed on the front page to approx 62"across and 36" from neck to tip.

Last line of Set up should already read: work to row 32

Open work: continue working rows 17 to 32 until you have 16 repeats etc etc.

Border:Cast on 35 st beginning at row 1 work 10 repeats of the border pattern.

Border again after point: work a further 10 repeats etc etc.
